Knowledge vs Faith

Recently I had a chat with two beautiful enlightened souls about the subject knowledge. The question was why do we need to acquire more knowledge when we already "intuitively know" everything through our strong faith.

So why am I so excited about receiving a full scholarship for my Bachelor?

I agree with the beautiful words of Asad Raza: Awakening is the result of an illumined mind and a living soul. The mind is illuminated by the rays of knowledge, while a soul is enlivened by the warmth of faith.

This quest may pave the way to liberating the believer from blind imitation.

Throughout Islamic history, starting with Umm al Muminîn, Aisha, our women have been teachers and scholars for men and women. Unfortunately in the same history we see that the rise and fall of Muslims has been in sync with rise and fall of knowledge and faith.

I believe we are all living in a society together and in order to live harmoniously we need to be awakened and inspired. Therefore I am indeed excited to study and acquire more knowledge, so I can share my findings and inspire the next generation. Insha'allah.

Been around the world!

Passion.Love. Motivation. Those words come back in each language, each country, each culture. Easily pronounced but they cary a heavy emotional value. All around the world we juggle with the same fundamental questions. Why then do we let ourselves be influenced by the divide and conquer theory by focussing on our differences, instead of focussing on our fundamental similarities.

I've been around the world like many before and after me, only to learn that love is a universal language. Why is it then that this universal language proves to be so challenging for everyone. Why is it that this universal language is the subject of everyones quest, however we cant seem to figure out how to deal with it properly. 

The best way to predict the future is to create it!

Creation, to create,
i create my life with the choices i make
i choose to live with strong faith and contentment
therefor i create a life full of happiness

Art is all about the beauty of creation, you get to create this unique piece by putting your emotions in it. When i paint it is a form of emotional release, that's why it works so therapeutic. When I play with colors and forms, and eventually look at what I created I feel peaceful and content.
The choices of colors and symbols also have a healing effect both during the painting process and after by looking at the artwork.

The beauty of creating your own artwork is when you contemplate on it and implement the same principles of choices and creation in your personal life. That is when you realize how amazing it is that your life is like a blank canvas and you get to create the artwork by your choices.
Think about it. How do you want to paint your life?

Soul Talk

Feeling is the language of the soul. Whenever we are at a crossroad in our life and think we don't know which choice to make, we should just FEEL. Follow your intuition. Listen to your gut feeling.
Mostly if we are truly honest to ourselves we already know what is the right decision. We have already made a choice but we are just trying to delay the decision due to our fear.
So when i feel like listening to my soul I paint! I love the process of just letting all your feelings out while playing with colors and symbols.
Today my soul talk is about attributes which are valuable to me to create my possibilities on my journey.
